If you believe that content uploaded by a user infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our Designated DMCA Agent using the procedure below. We will respond expeditiously to valid notices.
Filing a Takedown Notice
To submit a copyright takedown notice, send a written communication to our Designated DMCA Agent (contact information below) that includes all of the required elements listed here. Incomplete notices will not be acted upon.
Important: By submitting a takedown notice, you are making a legal declaration under penalty of perjury. Only submit a notice if you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, and you have a good-faith belief that the material is infringing.
Required Elements of a Takedown Notice
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid takedown notice must include all of the following:
- 1A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- 2Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (e.g., title of the textbook, course packet, or other work)
- 3Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information to locate it (e.g., the account email of the user who uploaded it, if known)
- 4Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- 6A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Send completed notices to our Designated DMCA Agent:

Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). A valid counter-notice must include:

Send counter-notices to the same Designated DMCA Agent address above with subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice."
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material no sooner than 10 business days and no later than 14 business days after receipt, unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a legal action seeking a court order.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), excelerAItor maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
